I'm trying to convert my real media files to mpegs, but I keep running into problems. First I found that using tinra works the best for picture, but the divx5 codec makes this horrible error that you can only get rid of if you reboot after you are finished. That I can live w/, but the audio/video is out of sync and using virtualdub doesn't seem to help. Is there more then just one way to use virtaldub to sync audio/video? I thought well I'll skip trying to do that and go on and try to make it an mpeg and then try to fix the audio/video, but when I load the files into tmpgenc their is no video at all! I mean none during compression and none when i test the mpeg. Sound is great but there is just a black screen there! I know I must be doing something wrong cause when I try an avi that someone else made I can use virtualdub to make a .wav file and make put it in tmpgenc and make a perfect mpeg no problem! Can anyone tell me what I may be doing wrong? All help is appreciated!

instead of using Tinra to turn your .rm's and .rams into avi or mpeg, use eo video instead, if you want to keep eo after the 30 day trial just buy it, it's worth every penny. (tinra blows chuncks)
To burn or not to burn, that is the question. -
