  1. Hi,

How do you reencode a DivX movie to Mpeg keeping the aspect ratio.

i.e. when I watch the movie in Realplayer it is widescreen without any borders, but once I've encoded it, it streches the film to 4:3 which looks crap.

Also what is the maximium screen size for VCD and SVCD

    Thanks in advance

    Search Comp PM
First Load the divx file into Tmpg. Now choose your prefered output format ( Vcd, Svcd, etc. ). Klick on the button settings here switch to advanced. And select 1:1 VGA and Full screen ( keep aspect ratio ).

    This should work .

  3. Try this:

After you've chosen your template go to settings.
Under video, klick on Aspect ratio, and choose unlock. Now you can select 16:9 Display.

Under Advanced, make sure aspect video source is set to
1:1 (VGA), or the respective 16:9 setting (pal or ntsc).
Under video arrange method select Full Screen (keep aspect ratio)

    This should solve your problem.
