    what program should I use to clean up noise in mpegs? I use tmpgenc to convert avi to mpg and clean them up in the process but I cant find a good program to clean the file when its already an mpeg. any suggestions?

    TMPGEnc will also load mpeg's 1/2, do the same as if the were AVI, no other way to clean them up without having to re-encode

    thats odd, whenever I load an mpeg 1 or 2 to tmpgenc it crashes the program, I just figured it couldnt load mpegs. it must just be my version

    Well we are all individuals with individual problems. By design TMPGEnc will load a mpeg 1, after all it does make them. With a helper (Codec) it will also edit Mpeg 2 (Power DVD 4 for codec) and will also edit those.
