Cleaning up a wave file..noise, etc

Man does anyone want to do me a favor. I have a wav file and it has some noise in it and I am trying to clean it up. When it comes to this I am a real big rookie. I can email or post the file if someone wants to try it for me. It is a short 3mb file. Fellows you should understand trying to find out if my girfriend is cheating on me.

Make sure you have a good set of headphones/earphones. Since Audacity is freeware and immediately downloadable, that might be your first stop, as AlanHK mentioned. If noise reduction tools don't help, experiment with EQ (equalization) functions.

But I completely agree with Soopafresh. Go with your gut. If the signs point to your woman being a skank, she probably is. Why go through the anxiety? Trade up for something better. "There are a lot of fish in the deep blue sea."

True, but once you go down this path there is no way to undo this. Assuming that she is not cheating on him, once he asks, it could damage the relationship beyond repair. She might resent not being trusted and such resentment could end up destroying the relationship. Or she might be a clever manipulator who is cheating on him but tearfully denies it and then turns it around about how he has wronged her by even thinking that. The best advice I could give would be to decide if you think she is a person capable of such actions and if so, it's best to find someone else.
