    I am having problems with TMPG 2.59.I have got an excellent quality avi that i am trying to convert.I have got problems with the video jittering slightly all the way through.I have tried adjusting the priority of the Direct show multimedia file reader up and down.If I set it to a low level I get perfect video but with no audio.If I up the priority I get jittery Video with Audio. Can anyone advise me on the correct settings to convert this AVI so I can play it in my standalone DVD player.

    i use tmpg 2.56. i believe that after that (i could be wrong) that you have to have one of three dvd software players installed on your system for it to work correctly.

    are you using the correct frame rate? if not this can cause the jitter.
