I have a large avi file that i tried split and convert to mpeg so i can burn 2 vcd's using total video converter but my laptop keeps shutting down through the coversion.
I then tried DivXToDVD but it did the same through that.
is there a way to burn the avi straight to a disk with the coversion? (but still playable in dvd player)
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays!

If your DVD player can play DivX files, then yes. Some models can.

What's the AVI format? Post a Gspot screenshot if you like. https://forum.videohelp.com/topic271697.html
