Help - Splitting a DVD onto a double-sided DVD-R

Hi all,
I'm very new to this. All I want to do is split a dual layer DVD onto either a double-sided 9.4gb DVD-R or 2 separate 4.7gb DVD-Rs. I would like to keep everything from the original, without reducing quality, features, etc. How can you do this?
