  1. When i convert a Avi-file to Mpg with Virtualdub+subtitler and TMPGEnc at 98% i get the following message: "Write error occurred at address 004028A9 of module TPMGEnc.exe with 00900EB0" and converting stops. Doing it over converting stopped at the same point. What can i do about it?

Before you tried to convert to TMPGEnc, did you select Video-->Scan video stream for errors in VDub?
    Hello.

  3. I did it after the error-message and the scan gave no messages. Looking at the Avi you see no bad video.

Load the AVI in VDub again. Save as AVI. Try to convert this new AVI file.

  5. OK. doing so, VDub advises to compress first in full processing mode. Clicking on "compression" a lot of possibilities appear, so ?what to choice

  6. When encoding a avi to mpeg, all I do is encode it with tmepg. I only use virtualdub to see what the frame rate is. Just open tmpeg, and encode your avi without using virtual dub, then use easy video creator to create the vcd data file and to burn it. I have made a bunch of vcds this way and they have all worked fine on my dvd player. I am burning on a regular memorex cdr and my dvd player is a sanyo dvm 370.
