I try to convert my rm file to avi, but the finished avi product has lots of problem .. major one is that the audio is out of sync ... I did try using virtualdub to fix it using the frame rate function (change so video and audio duration match) .. however, it still didn't help .. same problem remains ..
the second problem I have is that the avi file has worst picture quality than the rm file (I know that everytime I do a conversion, I lose some pic quality but didn't expect it to be this bad) ... it turns out having like white tiny spot all over .. it looks like it has snowed in the scene![]()
I then therefore try to fix the avi file in virtualdub .. first I try not to compress the avi file any further (cuz when I did compressed the video, it still didn't help .. all it did was made the file size 3 times smaller than the original avi file that was converted from the rm file) ... but because I didn't compressed the video .. the output avi file turns out to be REAL big .. like 4 GB ... but the picture quality was REAL good as wellbut audio is still out of sync
I don't know what to try next .. anyone has any idea how I can fix this .. so that I can have good picture quality without the snowy spots and have audio in sync and a file size that's not too big like 4 GB but somewhere around 200 MB is fine (this is about the size of the original avi file that was converted from the rm file using Tinra) .. any suggestion or advices are greatly appreciated .. thanks.
