I use an ATI card for analog capture. The video, when viewed in the Camcorder is perfect-no noise. However, when I capture, I notice white Horizontal bands of noise at the lower part of the screen.
How can I reduce or eliminated this effect?

You could go ahead and capture, then when you ready to encode, crop them off with a filter.

"When you get ready to encode, crop them off with a filter" It's Greek to me. What filter? What software? Ulead has no cropping abilities.
What is the procedure? Ulead does all the encoding.
This would be a big help.
