I'm using the Dazzle DVD recorder and used atleast 4 video capture programs and I keep getting a line of noise of different colors just at the bottom of the video. What's causing this and how do I fix it? The format is mpeg2 so I can transfer to DVD. But it works fine in AVI.

If it's just a couple of pixels high, you can ignore it if you are converting to MPEG for DVD. It should be hidden by the TV's overscan.
If your source were VHS tapes, I would guess it's head switching noise from the VHS player.
Some sort of noise at the bottom of the screen is fairly common with many video captures.
