    hi all
    ive got a d/l divx.avi file i want to convert to a mpeg1 so i can watch on my home dvd player but when ever i load the avi file in i get an error when i load in the VIDEOCD(NTSCFILM).MCF saying "error occured when audio is encoded" but if i dont load 1 in and just load the acual movie (avi file) it will start converting but when i play it back i dont get any sound

    any ideas on this please
    i was using TMPGENC V 2.

    ive tried it with the older version and just the same

    any help plzzz

    Search Comp PM
    Decompress the audio with VirtualDub.
    Video direct stream copy, audio full processing mode/ Compression "PCM uncompressed". Save as avi or segmented avi. Use that new avi as video source in TMPG.
