how to make dscaler to default program?

i have dscaler and zoltrix program to watch tv how do i make dscaler to be the deffault player?

cause when i capture tv with virdub it shows alwys zoltrix program's channel. i want to show dscaler;s channel cause zoltrix is not that clear as dscaler. also zoltrix doesnt detect all the channels

Just go to "Settings/Video input" and select "Tuner" in Dscaler's menu.
If you can't see the channels, go to "Hardware/Setup Hardware" in the menu, and verify that you have set your correct TV tuner in there.
Then press "Alt+Enter" and you're full screen!

Default player for what?
Dscaler is not a player. It's a video processor, designed with it's own BT8x8 drivers, to process video from capture cards.
