  1. Hi
I have this program but I have no clue how to use it.

All I want to do is back up my current system with all the drivers and such so that next time I format I can just reinstall everything from the CD

Little Help on where I begin

    thanks

  2. First make a ghost start up disc.
    Reboot using that diskette
Select the drive you want to image and the drive to dump the image onto.
    Select compression level
It will take anywhere between 20min to 1 hr depending on disk size, ALSO you may be asked to swap discs because it will be to big for 1 CDR. It will stop and eject the disc and prompt you to insert another, do so until done.

When restoring just do the same thing.

Your hard drive might have come with a disk that contains a utility, to transfer the data off of the old hard drive, onto the new one.

If not, then ghost your current setup and restore it on the new drive.

  5. I have 2001 as well. I used it to transfer all my stuff to my drive when I replace my 6gig one with my current 40gig drive.
