Hi,
I've downloaded some films from the internet but they are pretty poor quality (12.5 & 14.985 fps) - I tried to convert these using the guide on the site but it only provides TMPG template guides to convert 25-29fps. What do I do with files of this sort of quality other than bin them?
Cheers

Well, i can only give you a partial answer. But if you downloaded a poor quality movie, there is not much you can do to obtain a top quality VCD.
It's like to try to repair a scratched painting by taking a picture of it, that you use a cheap wal-mart disposable camera of a $1000 5megapixel canon digital camera, chance are the picture will be of a scratched painting. So, it's the same by encodng a poor quality movies, the result will be a (little less) poor quality movie.
Try to download movies that have at the very least 1100 to 1200 bitrate, it's about 800Mb to 1+ gb a full lenth movie. -
Hi Trekkermaster,
I can live with the low quality thing as the films are ones which have yet to be released in the uk (8 legged freaks & signs) so I expected these to be pretty shocking quality - video cam at the back of cinema job
Is it possible to convert these to vcd watch on my dvd player? I tried using Nero but I got the usual 'out of sync' problem - I'm currently stuck as to which template I'd use if I was following the How To guide method of splitting to wave and using TMPG.
Cheers
