xp pro and nero

have any of you guys had any problems burning a vcd with nero on xp pro . cause i cannot get it to work ive managed to convert ok with tmpgenc andf it plays on pc but it wont burn just keep getting error messages in the burn window and it just aborts it please help im going nuts! lol

I use nero 5.5.8.0 with XP pro, without any problems. Do you have any other burning software installed. Make sure explorer is closed as that also uses the burning engine for burning to cd from within explorer. I think this only effects nero if explorer is open when you start nero though.

ye i came across the problem with explorer but i sussed that one lol.
I can open nero without any problems its only when i come to burn it that i get problems it even scans it ok!.
Ive tried uninstalling and re installing with a newer version but with no luck , the latest thing it tells me is that it cant write to more than one recorder ! ive only got one recorder!lol

I've got XP Pro and I use Nero 5.5.9.0. It works perfectly and all, but I really don't trust the VCD wizard that comes with it. Instead, I use VCDEasy to make the BIN/CUE file and then I burn the image with Nero. (I have a TDK veloCD which doesn't work with VCDEasy's drivers)

oh well guys i suppose i must have a writer problem i just tried writing it as an iso and it still dont work
