  1. hi everybody,

i'm new to this forum, but i have a big problem converting from avi to wav. when i open my avi clip vitualdub comes up with an error saying that it has detected an improper vbr audio encoding and that this will introduce some seconds of skew. then i just proceed as normal and when i then use tempenc to create my mpeg file the audio slowly gets more and more out of sync. is there anybody who has a solution to this problem?

    thank you very much,

    eric

  2. Using vdub save the audio as a wav file, then use this wave file as the audio source when encoding in TMPGEnc.

  3. that's what i usually do and works fine normaly, but in this case the wave file is soehow stretched, so that the clip starts in perfect sync but the audio is slower then the video. any suggetions?

    thanks

You have to select audio>full-processing mode when saving the wav. Also, it is wise to use the conversion option to resample to 44100.
