Hi! I am eagerly trying to capture from my newly installed ACTIONTEC firewire card with 3 ports. I have successfully installed everything BUT the problem is with the capturing. I see the VIDEO on the monitor BUT when I press CAPTURE it tells me that file created is CORRUPT. i am trying to capture MPEG because I want to make a VCD. I have tried various programs but the only one that is able to work with the card is ULEad VIDEO STUDIO. I have WIN98 installed, 10 gigs free, P3, 700MHZ.
Thanks for the time.

Just a suggestion:
capture with Ulead (if this works in your case) to the harddrive.
When the file is stored on the harddrive, close ulead, and open TMPGEnc, and encode the file to VCD Mpeg1 format.........The Dutchman
