    I was trying to convert like this:

    SamrtRipper then with DVD2AVI I save as avi,,,
    Can anybody help?

    Rigo,

    DVD2AVI can save to uncompressed AVI but there is little point in doing this as the resulting file will be HUGE. If your intentions are to then convert this into a MPG then you can skip this step entirely and use VFAPI to convert the VOB directly to MPG.

    Save the 'project' in DVD2AVI rather than the AVI - resulting in a d2V file - then install the VFAPI plugin for TMPGEnc (download if ness), load the d2v file straight into TMPGenc + the audio rip that DVD2AVI did and away u go ...

    PS - Guides explain this a lot better than I did ...
