  1. I am following the divx to vcd all-in-one guide. The first avi file i converted and burned worked fine. However, when i tried to extract the audio for cd 2 of the movie, i get an error in virtualdub saying "couldn't locate decompressor for format 'MP42' (Microsoft High-Speed MPEG4-V2)". Any and all help deciphering this error is muchly appreciated. =:0)

    Thx in advance.

oh .. and I believe this site suggest that you delete the current divx codec that you have because nimo has them too .. I am not too sure ... be sure to check the "advice" or "suggestion" stated on the site before you do anything

    hope this help

  7. Try getting that microsoft codec at:
    http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/search.asp?
Use the key word search and enter "codecs" for the search word.

Be sure to reinstall DivX afterwords.
