  5. Hi !
Why don't you use DVDx ??? It's much esier..... Just mark the subtitle you want and press go.....
    I have a P4 1,7 Ghz and after 2 hours i have a perfect mpg-file.....

Does DVDx copy the content of the DVD movie to the HD or just starts encoding straight from the DVD-ROM ?

2 hours and the encoding finishes??? Thats fast !

It took me 4 hours and 50 minutes to encode Pearl Habour DVD (2 disc) to VCD. But if I encode DivX to VCD, all it takes is 1 hour and 26 minutes.

  7. You can choose.... You can change the parameters in the program , so it copies the movie to the harddisk first and encode from there. I think your cd-rom motor would appreciate that solution...... I've never had aby problems with DVDx... It works just GREAT !!!
