    Hi, I want to add English subtitles to a french film using convertxtodvd, but I have no idea how to do it? Can anyone help?

    Do you have the english subtitles and if so in what format?
    Or are you going to make the english subs yourself?

    You basicly just load your video source and the subtitle file(like srt) and convert and burn.

    Hi, thanks for the quick response. The english subtitles are in rar files. I'll try to extract them and add them to the video source.

    Do note that if your subtitles and the film are not both PAL or both NTSC that the subs won't match when you add them and they will be horribly out of sync. In theory it is possible to convert the timings for subs from PAL to NTSC or vice-versa using (I think) Subtitle Workshop, but the one time I tried to do it, it definitely did not work for my movie. I just gave up as it wasn't worth the time it was going to take to have to fix it by hand. Good luck.
