    hey,
    1st post here :P

Well, Ive got the movie Lord of the rings (divx 2cds)
now, Ive followed the guide in this site about how to join 2 dvixes with virtualdub, but it seems Im running into a problem..=/

When Im trying to join the 2 files toughter vdub giving me the next message "VirtualDub Error, Cannot append segments: the audio streams have diffrent sampling rates (17471.00000 vs. 18039.00000)

Now it's alson giving me the next message when im oppening the 1st file
"VBR audio stream detected, VirtualDub has detected an improper VBR audio encoding in the source AVI file and will rewrite the audio header with standart CBR values during precessing for better compability. This may introduce up to 59633 ms of skew from the video stream......"

I have no clue what to do but im hopeing someone will :P any help will be welcomed

    Cheers
    =/

    Hi there,
ive just joined so i dont know if this will come out ok.
i had the same LOTR as u and had the same problem as first, but u need to open up the first half in virtual dub and go to video then direct stream copy, then to audio and select full processing, then audio again and select compression and make sure u have selected no compressionPCM selected.
Then go to file, and Save as AVI and save it, this wont take long though it depends on your comp, it usually takes me about five minutes.
Do this with both halfs then you can join the two no bother, though make sure u have free hard drive space as the files will be about 1.5gb cant remember exactly though, hope this help
