  1. I authored a DVD using the SPRUCEUP guide here. I can not burn with spruceup as my DVD Recorder is not supported. I proceeded to follow the instructions to use Nero to burn the title set created in SPRUCEUP. I followed the guide to a "T" but ran into a problem when dragging and dropping the files as instructed.

I received an error message that read "......nero only accepts *.VOB and *.IFO files. Files with extension *.LAY are not supported". The guide however looks like it was able to copy the *.lay file. I read and reread and reread the guide again to see if I missed anything and it looks like I didn't.

    Any ideas?

Don't worry about this. NERO is only telling that it won't drag that file into its compilation (under VIDEO_TS). I get this all the time, because I usually archive all of my .IFO files as I am "re-navulating" them. When I am done, I just drag everything in my directory to the VIDEO_TS diretory, click "OK" when NERO screams, then burn.

If this really bothers you, just don't drag the .LAY file (all Spruce products generate this file).

  3. Thanks SLK001. It didn't bother me, I just didn't know if that was acceptable or not. Thanks for your help
