I dont think so - going from Stereo WAV to Dolby AC3 seems like a very inexact science --- take 2 channels and split them into 5 ??

I used Sonic Foundry Soft Encode. Its very good for encoding but doesnt seem to work with win xp.
Now I use Sonic Scenarist. Its a DVD authoring program that can take 6 (or less) wave files and encode them to a .ac3 file, but that is pretty much it.
If you can get it to work I recommend you use Soft Encode.
