AviSynth WILL NOT Open in VirtualDubMod

Also what are some of the filters i need to use in either avisynth or virtualdub for anime DVD?

Use File -> Open Video File, not File -> Run Script.

thats what i did, i did File > Open Video File.
Also what filters am i supposed to be using in Avisynth and VirtualDub2 for DVD anime ????
I want to encode them and store on hard drive for play back

First of all, VirtualDubMod has no problem opening AviSynth scripts. So your original problem wasn't VirtualDubMod but rather something wrong with your D2V file -- rebuild the file yourself with DgIndex.

VirtualDubMod was almost certainly a 32 bit version. I suspect you ran 64 bit VirtualDub2 and don't have 64 bit AviSynth installed. The 32 bit and 64 bit video systems under windows are completely separate. Neither environment can see the other. So you must have 64 bit AviSynth (and filters) if you use a 64 bit editor/encoder, 32 bit AviSynth (and filters) if you run a 32 bit editor/encoder.

What do you want to do? Upload a sample of your source without any conversion. Use DgIndex to extract a short sequence with motion, especially a panning shot: mark-in, mark-out, File -> Save Project and Demux Video. Upload the resulting m2v file.
