Automate Video Encoding

Hi - i'm searching for a software or a script or anything that can convert videos automaticlly

i have found "ffmpeg" .it can download and encode in one time but i am looking for a something that can encode anything from a directory. i have a directory address in web and my videos are in it and i will add more i want to script do the encode aotumaticlly.when i put a new video on that adress the script must be able to find it and encode it with ffmpeg

thats all i want - and i know some people have it or like this

AnotherGUI can be used as a GUI for ffmpeg and it has a "watch folders" option that can be used to watch different folders with different encoder presets if you so choose. Well.... at least that's how it appears to work. I've not used the "watch folders" option myself.

To enable "watch folders" you need to download the appropriate SQLite zip file and copy the files within to the same folder as AnotherGUI. The SQLite zip files can be found here. http://www.stuudio.ee/AnotherGUI/

Edit: I thought I'd give "watch folders" a spin and it certainly seems to work as advertised, but it did take me a few minutes to work out if you want to add a conversion preset or a folder to a new "watch folder" preset, after opening the "watch folder" window you have to double click in the empty space under the preset or folders column to open the dialogue. That's wasn't obvious to me as it's just an empty space so I thought I'd mention it..

I use Hybrid with it's 'monitorFolder' and '-autoadd addAndStart' options from time to time to do this. (both are 'hidden' options)

On Linux this could also be easily done using a incrond entry with a script that is fed with the file,...
(I used this a few years ago to automatically process content recorded by multiple cameras which uploaded a new file every now and then into a shared folder.)
