Okay I have a ton of video files (All MKV or the most part). All off my video files I ripped but at WAY too large of a size. As I have gone on I have slowly compressed them a bit because the sizes were way too big. What I want to do is find away to systematically have it. 1) Check frame rate, and resolution. If it is over X framerate (I want to still keep the 1080p but need a comperessed fie size) I want it to dump it down and reconvert it. I then want it to delete the original file and put the new file in its place. I want to do this on ALL my blu ray moves I have which is about 200 movies. I know how to do this one at a time in mkvmerge GUI. Is there any scripted way I can do this for a ton of files.

BTW do not worry about the time it takes for this to convert I have a PC dedicated to just doing this task until its all done. I just need more space on my HDD and bad. 200 movies at about 35-38gb each is a ton of space.
