  1. I'm using a avermedia PCI-e capture card and after a lot of searching for how to use virtual dub, I've almost got everything set up right. Only problem is now I can't have audio unless I want to play at 5 fps. I select audio playback to get audio and then select the second line for audio source (audio is pretty stuttery most of the time) which is how I currently get audio, however it is set to no source now, that way I can actualyl play at normal fps.

What am I missing? I want audio and high fps. Thanks for any help you can give!

  2. Many people have problems with that. Disable audio playback while capturing.

Do yourself a favor and post your system specs ... this goes a long way to solve such issues.

Virtualdub is not a player and has issues when used for that purpose ... it can capture, filter, edit. save, frameserve, and other things but as a player forget it ... you will have problems.
