  1. Can anybody recommend a currently for sale DVD player model that has an option to turn off the on-screen text/graphics? For example, if the DVD player is in pause mode and it says "Pause" on the screen, I want a button to either turn off the "Pause" text on-screen or an option that can be set that would suppress all on-screen text. I have an old Daewoo 5700 and a Daewoo 5800 DVD player. When it is in pause mode, it says "Pause" on the screen but if I press the "Register" button on the remote, the "Pause" disappears. This allows me to make a recording of the "frozen screen" without the "Pause" ruining the recording. Unfortunately, those old machines are starting to fail.

I have a Cyberhome CH-DVD 300 DVD player but I have not found a way to make the "Pause" disappear. Does any body know how to make it disappear (if there is a way to do it)?

If there is no solution for the Cyberhome CH-DVD 300, I would greatly appreciate it if anybody can recommend a currently for sale DVD player model that has an option to turn off the on-screen graphics.

Thanks to anybody who can help me out.

Don't know about dvd players but my sony bdp-s380 has an option to turn off those features,go to a local walmart or bestbuy and test a player to see if it has that option, maybe someone here with a newer dvd player can state that they have that option.

Look in the setup/option menu to see if there is an auto display that can be turned off.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.
