  1. I'm a VERY frustrated mom who is trying to make flv copies of her son's video project. I've converted it from prel to flv (honestly don't know I did it).

I can play the file perfectly on my desktop (where both the prel and the flv were created), but when I burn it to a disc and play it on my laptop, it will not play correctly. There are glitches in both the video and the audio.

What am I doing wrong? Or what can I do to make a good flv disc. The actual disc has to be submitted for the project.

    HELP!!!!!!!!!!

    Sincerely,

    KFain/Cincinnati

Can you give more info about your flv files? You can use mediainfo and open the flv to check the details like resolution/video size, video codec, etc.

And try play with another software player like VLC Media Player and see how it works.

It's not any flv, it's an avi with dv video. Your cd reader might be too slow for the high data rate. Reconvert to smaller/more compressed format like a real flv or mp4, use for example freemake video converter.

  6. Are you saying the file isn't an actual flv file? Can I convert it from real player? The original prel file seems to be damaged now. Thanks so much.

  7. OK. I made a new flv. What program should I use to burn the cd? Or can I just drag and drop it?
