    hi, usually TmpgEnc can open all avi
    but there's were some avi can't open, when i open it show this




    this in info that TmpgEnc can't open

    i have FFdshow, do i need another codec ?

  3. Make sure ffdshow's VFW AVC decoder is enabled:

    Start -> All Programs -> ffdshow -> VFW Configuration -> Decoder (tab) -> Codecs (left pane) -> H.264/AVC (right pane)

    setting have change to libavcodec, but still can't open these avi

  5. Try enabling the DirectShow h.264 decoder too:

    Start -> All Programs -> ffdshow -> Video Decoder Configuration -> Decoder (tab) -> Codecs (left pane) -> H.264/AVC (right pane)

    it only have this option : disable & libavcodec

  7. Are both set to libavcodec? There are two places you need to enable h.264 in ffdshow because there are two video systems in Windows.

    Start -> All Programs -> ffdshow -> VFW Configuration...
    Start -> All Programs -> ffdshow -> Video Decoder Configuration...

    both already set to libavcodec.
    when i open in virtualsub , it show this
