TMPGEnc 4.0 Express will not open anymore?

Hello, I have Tempgenc 4.0 express the registered version. For the past 6 months I have used this program without any problems. All of a sudden, when I click on the icon to launch the program, nothings happens? I restarted the computer, again nothing. So, I uninstalled and then re-installe dthe program, I click on the icon...the program will not start? Why is this happening?

Hard to say for certain. Prolly a support .DLL file is the wrong version or corrupted. Not easy to fix without seeing it. I'd run filemon.exe from sysinternals.com to see under the hood as to which file is hosing when you click on the Tmpgenc icon. I know you want someone to say "it's THIS", but you'll have to find the culprit through some trial and error.
