Hi. I've been trying out MeGUI and xmediarecode and have decided to use xmediarecode (ease of use, fast, excellent results). Even though the Volume Correction is set at 100% (which I take to mean the volume of the new file will be the same as that of the original), the volume of the new file is quite a bit lower.
Can anyone suggest a reason why that might be? Thanks for any suggestions.

If you converted to AC3 you may just need to turn up the audio gain on your AC3 decoder.

Thanks jagabo. However, I just discovered a button on xmediarecode called 'copy audio' which sorts the problem.
