Open it in DVDShrink. You can remove the menu(a movie only backup) and remove the unwanted subtitles.

  4. What's that mean, 'conform subtitles to film'? If you want to add subs to a DVD, follow Baldrick's Method 2 in his guide:

    https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/277950-How-to-add-new-subtitles-to-an-existing-DVD

If you mean you want to synch the subs to the video, then that's much more difficult but there's lots of software available for the job.

  6. You have a text file with no timings? Use a subtitling program to create your subtitles, ones such as Subtitle Workshop, SubtitleCreator, or Aegisub.

  8. Not good enough. Details needed. Were you able to get the subs muxed into the audio and video with Muxman? That is, when you played the Muxman authored DVD (before doing the 'Replace' step using VobBlanker) did you see subs? This is using a software DVD player, one such as PowerDVD, and not just double-clicking on a VOB. If no subs, check (and post) the Muxman log found in the root of the 'C' Drive.

    Or else just give up.
