Not sure how to help you with that. But I will say that favc hasn't been updated in a long time. You might try avstodvd. It is constantly being updated and is supported by its author. It uses the same encoders that favc does and supports subtitles as well. It's free so you wont lose anything by trying it.

  4. When you say error is subtitles do you mean pink or other bright colored text instead of white? I've noticed this with a lot of converters. I think they must add the subs in the wrong place with video that need color correction. If it's just wrong colors you can edit the finished DVD with DVDSubEdit. There should be a guide here somewhere using DVDSubEdit to change the subtitle color palette, or CLUT.

Once you've done it a couple of times it takes about a minute.

  5. There's no problems with colors. With FAVC, subtitles change language for an unknown, now i tried AVStoDVD and the problem is the same, but subtitles become english. The original ones are Portuguese. I have K-Lite Mega Codec Pack instaled, I don't know if it changes something. Thank you very much again.

  6. your mkv probably has multiple subtitle tracks

use mkvtoolnix and uncheckmark all the subs you don't want (just keep the portugese ones checked) , remux a new mkv . Then use that new mkv as input (essentially you are removing all the other subs , so the software cannot pick the wrong subtitle)

  7. It worked! Thanks very much for all of you. I used mkvtoolnix and there was a lot of subs that I had to uncheckmark. Thanks again, and sorry for my english.
