Hi!!!
I have a AVI file (divx) with a 5 seconds keyframe n I wanto to cut/edit it!!!
The problem is... Everytime I set a starting point it saves the file statind at the previous keyframe.
I'm using direct stream mode, cause I just want to edit the file!!!
Does anyone knows what to do???
Or may be another software that would do the job???
Thanxs so much

I have not had this problem with AVIs but you could try using the delete frames option under VirtualDub. i.e.
1. select thew bit you don't want using the last two buttons (half left/right arrows)
2. select edit menu and choose 'delete selection'
3. save AVI (use direct stream copy)
Similarly you could try using the restrict range option under the video menu.
Thinking about it I assume you are using one of the two above menthods anyway BUT here are these just in-case.
