To Rip or Not To Rip Thatīs the question
-
JC - The newer versions of TMPGenc have a 30 day limit for MPEG2 encoding due to the author having to pay licensing fees for the code (think that's the story - someone correct me if I'm wrong).
Somewhere in this forum, I remember reading about a change to the registry to overcome this. Do a search of TMPGenc and see what you come up with.
OR...find version beta12a - it has no time limit and the quality of the encoding is great (versions between b through f had some issues with MPEG2 output quality)
beta 12a is a little buggy but works great. -
To everyone
pSyChO dAd has the solution to reset the 30 day trial in MPEG2 in TMPGEnc.
Just start regedit and find the following key :
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{63902277-B101-4049-8B46-C24B67E155E5}
now delete this part completely,
{63902277-B101-4049-8B46-C24B67E155E5}
and the timer is reset.
Greetz,
