  2. JC - The newer versions of TMPGenc have a 30 day limit for MPEG2 encoding due to the author having to pay licensing fees for the code (think that's the story - someone correct me if I'm wrong).

    Somewhere in this forum, I remember reading about a change to the registry to overcome this. Do a search of TMPGenc and see what you come up with.

    OR...find version beta12a - it has no time limit and the quality of the encoding is great (versions between b through f had some issues with MPEG2 output quality)

    beta 12a is a little buggy but works great.

  4. To everyone

    pSyChO dAd has the solution to reset the 30 day trial in MPEG2 in TMPGEnc.

    Just start regedit and find the following key :
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{63902277-B101-4049-8B46-C24B67E155E5}

    now delete this part completely,
    {63902277-B101-4049-8B46-C24B67E155E5}
    and the timer is reset.
    Greetz,

    pSyChO dAd
