Anyone know how to fix this error I'm getting in W7 64bit: "Error 2738 Could Not Access VBSCRIPT Runtime for custom action". I'm trying to install software on a friends computer and I'm getting that error msg. I've already googled and did one thing but it didn't work. I will have to try the regedit tomorrow thingy I found on google. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Yes I did run it as administrator. The software is Perrla.

I did try the www.nitropdf.com last night and it didn't work. I'll take a look at the other link you posted tomorrow. Thanks for replying to my thread. I do appreciate it. I'm trying to at all costs not to have to reformat and reinstall W7 64 on my friends laptop. I installed the Perrla software on my W7 pc and it installed fine with no VBScript runtime error. But my W7 is 32 bit.
The laptop had limewire installed on it which I uninstalled. CCleaner found something called "mysextoys somthing".....LmAO! It did fix a lot of registry errors but I still kept getting the runtime error.
