I know this is a stupid question, but I have an update to my car deck, that says it has to be burned in the DAO mode. I usually use Imgburn, yet I have not had to burn just files with it, I have just been using XP or Vista to make data disks in the past, but I do not know if they burn in that mode. It does not appear Imgburn will burn just a file??? I did have recordnow max awhile back, but dont have it anymore either. Any suggestions?

DAO (disc at once) or SAO (session at once) will work just fine. Most burning applications use these modes - many even confuse the two
Just don't burn TAO (track at once) for your data discs.
burnatonce
BurnAware Free
CDBurnerXP
Deep Burner
InfraRecorder

IMGBurn can be set to DAO/SAO in the options.

I checked the write tab under settings in imgburn and it was already set to DAO/SAO. I just wanted to make sure before I call tech support and tell them their firmware update did not work for my deck. Instructions specifically said to burn as DAO or it would not work. Thanks.
