Hi,
I want to buy a Blackmagic Intensity (maybe pro if I really need it) so I can record my Xbox. I also want to hook up my xbox to my computer moniter (Acer AL2216w which has a DVI-D and VGA input) but I don't want to buy it unless I'm sure I can use it. How will I set it up? Can I use an DVI-D/HDMI splitter and connect the HDMI to the BM and then the DVI-D into my moniter? And also, I have external speakers because my acer moniter doesn't have built in speakers, how will I be able to set that up so it plays audio from my xbox?
Sorry if this is already posted somewhere I'm new and too lazy to look.
Thanks in advance
EDIT: Ok I think I have it figured out, but another question: If I plug in the XBOX 360 VGA adpter, will I be able to plug in the HDMI to the BM? Or will the XBOX only work with one thing plugged in.
