    I keep getting this message when I try to rip the DVD "cant read block 6 (That changes every time) byteposition 12kb unlock again now and retry.
    I used the tutorial from this board.
    Any help would be great.

    Just curious, what DVD are you trying to rip when this heppens?

    I got the same problem trying to rip Saving Private Ryan. It happens on the same point. The DVD-rom drive begins to choke . I already tried to rip with Smartripper 4 times! No go. Thought the disc was scratch as far as I can see it has no scratches. Anyway I ended up using Decrypter. Clad and Vstrip will also rip the same disc without any problem.

    I am using a 16x BTC dvd rom. I am tring to rip stigmata. I errors when I first try to rip it. I used drive info and it says region code : not set. User : 5 changes left. Manufacturer: 4 changes left. Status: not set.
    What can I do? I did try Decrypter and the same thin happened. I am running wim 98 if you needed to know.
    Sorry I am very new to this
