I am trying to author a DVD using muxman.

The srt is in properly synchronized, the .sup file is also well synchronized (tested with Subtitle Creator, timing checked). After muxman finishes it jobs, the sup is a little bit late. DVDSubEdit shows that the sub now is +0.260 second (constant to all sub lines).

I'm just learning so I don't know if it's common or weird.

    Please advise me.

    Thank you

  2. Actually I don't know. But 0.26 seconds is hard to detect anyway. Maybe that's why nobody complained about it yet.

I would try to check the timing with the same program before and after authoring.

  3. A quarter of a second is noticeable, I think. Not as noticeable as audio off by a quarter of a second, but still noticeable. I'd find it annoying, if they had been properly synched to begin with. But I've never had the problem. As far as I know, Muxman has never been responsible for changing the sub times for me.

I think I agree. Open the SUP before authoring in DVDSubEdit and check if the times are the same or 0.26 seconds off from the subs after authoring.

If, when playing the new DVD you find them delayed, qknet, although you might not be happy with the result, you know it's also easily fixed using DVDSubEdit.

    Yes, manono,

Since I notice the +0.260s I always intentionally made delay of -0.260s BEFORE starting muxman or ifoedit, and things would be fine.

I was just wondering if it is popular or I was doing something weird, and it is, according to you.

    Thank you.
