Hi, I have a strange weird playback of videos problem and I can't figure out what to do about it

I edit movies myself and I use Virtualdub, I put a logo into my vids but when I watch the vids in WMP of VLC the left side of the screen and the right side is cut off/not shown
I don't see the logo I put on Virtualdub and the logo is 100% there because when I go back to Virtualdub I can see the logo and when I make a cap with PowerDVD the logo also is there

When I watch movies it seems I get a wrong format or so
The screen is way too wide, left and right views are not shown

Anybody knows how to correct/solve my problem?

    I have a AMD XP 1800+ 1 53 GHz 512mb

I will make a cap tomorrow and post it here
BTW: I never had this probs with Service pack 2
I recently switched to Service pack 3

  5. So the cropping is happening on your computer monitor? What player are you using? Some players have a full-screen setting where they enlarge to frame until there are no black borders visible. So if the video is not the same aspect ratio as the monitor parts of it will be cut off. In MPC it's called Touch Window From Outside. Change it to Touch Window From Inside to maintain aspect ratio and see all of the frame (with black borders).
