How do you make the fonts that were edited in the subtitle to display on the video when you merge them?

All I've been getting is the font arial, white, and shadow no matter how I change and save on different fonts.

What type of subtitles are you using and what format video are you attaching them to? Are they burned in subs or selectable?

.srt type subs use the font of the player. Burned in or .sub/.idx subs you can put what you want in there for fonts.

Lots more to it, though. But you would have to give more info before anyone can answer your question. Have you read the 'stickies' at the top of this forum?

    And welcome to our forums.

Its .srt converted from .sub/.idx, the video is avi. I've tried mkvmerge, avimux gui... to put them together and the same result, just that avimux for some reason gives a bigger size.

Yeah I read the stickies on top of the forum, the main ones.

The edited style from subtitle processor is visible in the program but when I merge it to the video it turns just white letters, shadow, arial font. It's also the same when the video reads from the .srt file.

    Thanks.

    Nvm I found a easy way... ><
