  1. hey there people. im looking for a vdub filter similar to the "simple color correction" filter that resides inside the tmpgenc andvanced settings.

    i use tmpgenc for converting movies, but i also tend to do lots of skateboard videos (mainly high-motion video) and id rather use panasonic (PWI). i ONLY encode vcd compliant mpeg1s.

    i open the video file in vdub, resize, smooth, then frameserve to whatever encoder. ive tried a couple filters ive found on the net, but nothing is quite comparible as well as easy to use as the "simple color correction" filter found in tmpgenc.

    if anyone can help me, id truly appreciate it. thanks again all you VCDHelpers!!! CIAO-ski...

    Hue/Saturation/Intensity (1.2) is what I've been using. It allows you to show a preview of the colored video.

    Normally I only crank the Saturation up to 1.51 to counteract the drab tv captures I do. Using a separate filter I also increase the brightness for playback on computer.
