I recently purchased a JVC GZ-MG130U. When I backed up the files to my hard drive it produced them in MOV format. I created a DVD with this easily enough, but when I try to watch, edit or reviw these clips on windows media player there is no sound. Can anyone suggest a format which will enable me to watch my clips on windows media player and produce a dvd which i can watch on my Philips dpv520? Also if i need a converter for this can you suggest a suitable one?
I am an absolute newbie at this so any help whould be hugely appreciated.

Please give us MORE MORE MORE information.
How did you create a dvd? What software?
What audio settings did you use?
Do you get audio if you play the mov files? -
To create the DVD I used the software provided with the camera, the programme is called "power cinema NE for everio". I used an option "create DVD" and selected a few backup files from my CPU hard drive which were backup files from the cameras HDD. Like I said earlier this DVD then worked with no problems. The problem is that if i try to preview the backup files on my comp using windows media player, there is no sound. I think this type of file is not fully compatible with WMP. For your info the file type is "Movie Clip (.MOD).
