Hi,
I've captured about 1 Hour of video using my USB capture device...
I've decided to go with "Standard Play" capturing, and the video look good.
The video that I got IS Mpg file (MPEG 2 file), so why do I have to go to something like TMPGEnc and encode it for around 10Hours???
Thanks
Gil.

What are you trying to do with it ?

If you are trying to create a DVD, is your mpg file compliant ?

Open the mpeg file in the latest g-spot, and compare the specifications to those in What is DVD - top left corner. if you video is not compliant then you have to re-encode. If it is compliant, you are using the wrong software to author, or using it incorrectly.Read my blog here.
