How do you figure that? What is the content of the disc? Can you give a folder listing?

You mean the disc mounts on your desktop?

MacTheRipper and HandBrake are both designed to work on DVDs, not CD-ROMs.

I'm thinking maybe VCD, but your additional info should confirm that.

Yes, could you say a bit more about what it is that you are actually trying to accomplish? The term "strip a disc" has no common meaning.

And the "hard square disk" that you are talking about: Is this a thing in addition to the CDROM you are trying to strip? If so, is it a plastic thing with a sliding piece? Is it about 3.5" (a bit less than 9cm) on a side? If so, that is a floppy disk. Perhaps you are trying to defeat copy protection of some kind, and the floppy contains the key?

From Case's and my questions, perhaps you can see that your post raises many questions that need answering before we can answer yours.

Could be one of those 'business card' (mini?) CDs; I think there were some multimedia/presentation CDs released that way that you could find at CompUSA, or in some obscure Pokemon toys, etc. But, yeah, marinebc11, more information would definitely help.

I would suggest scanning the disc (put it label side down so we can see the label in the scan) and posting the scan here so we can look at it. You've used so many wrong terms that nobody has any idea what you are talking about, but if we can see what the disc looks like, we might be able to figure out what you are trying to do and provide some help.
